Rebecca Kleefisch, People for Rebecca Campaign Committee Individual Donations from 1/1/21 to 6/30/23

Treasurer: John Turke

While the Wisconsin Ethics Commission (WEC) has jurisdiction over complaints of Campaign Finance Chapter 11, Chapter 13 Subch. III and Chapter 19 Subch III of the Wisconsin Statutes, Campaign Committee “People for Rebecca” (PFR), allegedly violated many more state and federal laws in her effort to boost her chances for the 2022 Wisconsin gubernatorial seat.

Our mission, at this juncture, is to detail and expose just one way to obtain campaign funds using individuals’ names and addresses as money mules
(Smurfs) for a means to a corrupt end.

To reiterate, we were informed of the 3-year investigation history restriction. Wis Stat 11.0201(4) requires a treasurer to “maintain records…for not less than 3 years…”.

As a result of this, complaint data for PFR ranged from 9/8/21 to last recoded entry on 8/23/22. The following are just a few PFR campaign highlights.

*CFIS: 25,217 donations (to total $7,748,155), 14,012 unique donors

*PFR alleged Individual False Donations of 2,795 to total $242,230.

*Out of state funds approx. 16% out of state (not including PAC monies).

*Most used Individual PFR Smurf Campaign: Philip C – 95 times

*No street addresses as required by WisStat 11.0204(1)(a)(1) provided for 855 individual contributions to total $456,994
